Seed Pod Star Anise Pendant
Seed Star Anise Pendant features Anise Star shape seed pods that are cast in resin. The process is to pick the best shape Anise Star seed pods and cast them in a block of clear epoxy resin. The block is then put on a wood lathe.  Then I turn the casting into a cylinder that will fit the  1 1/2 inch diameter Bronze Pendant with a matching 24-inch long chain.   Once the pendant and the color pencil disk are together I dome the pencils with clear epoxy which enhances the color and provides exceptional protection.  Do you sometimes worry that some lady will be wearing the same jewelry at an important event?  Won’t happen with this pendant. I am certain you will not see this anywhere else unless it is a copy of my handmade wood jewelry.
It should be fun to have your friends guess what is in the Pendant.  I have yet to have someone identify it as an Anise Seed Pod.  When I tell them that it is Anise they do get it, that is if they know what Anise looks like.  I didn’t until I saw them in a spice store.
