This Sea Urchin Coral Sculpture is a large wood sculpture featuring turning, carving, and bleaching. After turning the shape on the Lathe it takes several days at the workbench to complete an item like this.  The size is approximately 3 1/2 inch diameter by 2 1/2 inches high.  This makes a one of a kind unique display piece for your art collection. No one will know it is wood and not a real sea urchin when you show it to them.  That is my objective.
The inspiration for Sea Urchin Coral Sculpture comes from Mother Nature.  We all search for beach treasures when on vacation hoping to find that special seashell washed up onshore. Sometimes we get lucky and find a starfish, sand dollar or in this case a sea urchin.

There is nothing that you need to do to care for this large wood sculpture. You are not going to wash it in water and you are certainly not going to wax it.
Just try not to drop it.
