Pepper and Salt Shakers
Pepper and Salt Shakers are handmade on the wood lathe.  The wood is a lamination of high quality veneers alternating with dark and light colors which offer the zebra stripe effect.   The cap is stainless steel and the rubber stopper are both food safe.  The shakers have many layers of a protective high gloss coating which is applied and built up while the lathe is turning at a high speed. This provides a supper smooth and glossy protective finish that will protect these items for many years.  Picture these unique one of a kind Salt and Pepper Shakers on your kitchen table.

Care for Wood Shakers
Keep out of direct sunlight and minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
Do not wash with water and use only a damp cloth if necessary
Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore luster.  I like beeswax or walnut oil.
