Oak Fruit Bowl
Handmade on a wood lathe this turned Oak fruit bowl is food safe and features beautiful grain and colorful age ring markings.  Notice the carved raised band around the perimeter.  There are 600 species of oak, 90 in North America.  We usually only hear about White Oak and Red Oak.  I believe this piece is a Red Oak.
Picture this gorgeous oak fruit bowl filled with apples or oranges on your kitchen table. This deep bowl is perfect for fruits or any other utilitarian need. Will make a great cell phone and key holder. If you are constantly misplacing your keys and phone then this bowl is perfect as a cell phone holder or jewelry keeper.  Just drop the items into the bowl when you get home and your life will be simplified.  Picture this bowl on your dining room table as a great display piece.
The size is 7 1/2 inch diameter x 5 inches high.

Care for your bowl
Keep out of direct sunlight
Minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
Do not wash with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore the luster.  I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
Wood Fruit not included, but I would be happy to make some for you.
