Morris Louis Inspired Wall Art
Morris Louis Wall Art is an inspirational piece from the paintings of Morris Louis.  The pencil leads remind me of the giant drop painting by the great Abstract Artist, Morris Louis a leader in the Color Field movement in Modern Art. The shadow box frame size is 6 x 6 x 1  1/2 inches overall with dripping lines of colored pencils that are 3 x 3 x 3/8 inches.  Notice the colorful lines seem to be floating in air.  Complete with hanging wire.  My signature, Alan Adler is on the rear of the piece.
Great conversation piece as few people will identify the lines as color pencils. Ask an adult what they see and they will not be able to tell you.  When you say ” Colored Pencils” they will respond “Wow.”  Ask a child and they will say “Colored Pencils.”  When do we as adults lose this spontaneity?
