Historic Wood from The Underground Railroad

Historic Wood from The Underground Railroad makes this bowl a one of a kind with tons of character. It is not often to find wood with these gorgeous patterns. The wood is Mulberry from a tree that fell in a storm on the Underground Railroad Trail in Nyack, NY.  Just think of the history possibly witnessed by this tree.  The butterflies are airbrushed and represent a journey to freedom. This bowl is perfect as a centerpiece for your table. The size is 7 1/2 inch diameter by 4 high. My signature is on the base along with a notation about the wood.

The size is 8-inch diameter by 2 1/2 inches high.

Care for Historic Wood Bowl

  • Keep out of direct sunlight

  • Do not wash with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
  • Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore the luster.  I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
