Cinnamon Stick and Epoxy Pendant
SOLD Cinnamon Stick and Epoxy Pendant
Cinnamon stick slices embedded in epoxy to form this unusal pendant. Great gift for a chef.
The pendant features Cinnimon Sticks that are cast in resin. The process is to pick the best shape sticks and cast them in a block of clear epoxy resin. The block is then put on a wood lathe. Then I turn the casting into a cylinder that will fit the 1 1/2 inch diameter Bronze Pendant with a matching 24-inch long chain. Once the pendant and the color pencil disk are together I dome the sticks with clear epoxy which enhances the color and provides exceptional protection. Do you sometimes worry that some lady will be wearing the same jewelry at an important event? Won’t happen with this pendant. I am certain you will not see this anywhere else unless it is a copy of my handmade wood jewelry.
It should be fun to have your friends guess what is in the Pendant. I have yet to have someone identify it as Cinnimon. When I tell them that it is Cinnimon they do get it, that is if they know what raw Cinnimon looks like. I didn’t until I saw them in a spice store.
