All In One Bottle Opener and Paperweight
Red Maple Paperweight and Bottle Opener all in one.  Ever say, “I cannot find that ugly bottle opener.”   Can’t remember which drawer you put it in or where your wife put it so there no chance of you finding it.  No more problems. This bottle opener is large enough so that it will not get lost and pretty enough to be left on display. This utilitarian all in one maple burl paperweight can be left on your desk and the bottle opener is nice enough to leave out all the time. The maple burl features beautiful colors and textures.  I turn and form the hemispherical shape on the wood lathe.   The bottle opener features a heavy gauge stainless steel plate that sits in a recess at the bottom of the paperweight.
The size is 3 1/2 inch diameter by 2 1/4 inches high.

Keep out of direct sunlight
Minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
Do not wash with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore the luster.  I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
