Box Elder Salad Bowl
Handmade wood turned Red Box Elder salad bowl with beautiful grain and incredible red flame markings. The red color streaks are created by the Box Elder Beetle when he infests a maple tree. His cousin, the Ambrosia Beetle leaves brown streaks in the wood. Keep out of direct sunlight
Minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
Do not wash with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore the luster.  I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
